In Ho Song
In Ho Song
South Korea

My work expresses imaginary animals. This work's motif is a Korean traditional funerary figure, Kkokdu. Kkokdu is a witty human shaped wooden figure, which is known as to take a role in sharing the happiness with the passed ones and relieving their sorrows, coming and going between this world and the next world. Kkokdu is a classic example of a heavy subject expressed humorously. Likewise, I want to present fun and easily understandable artworks to visitors when they watch exhibitions.
